P3 Gearbox Wanted: Patrick Hiron writes that
he has a P3 owner friend in Toronto who is looking for a spare
gearbox. Contact Patrick (who also has a P3) at pandbhiron@videotron.ca
Surplus Early P4 Parts: Glen
and Claire Wilson and their son James recently paid us a visit
en route to checking out a college in Worcester that James
may apply to. They “just
happened to have” a van-load of early P4 parts with them – I
had agreed to squeeze these parts into my garage and help find
a home for them. The parts had been collected over the years
by the late Charles O’Donnell who had P4s in Ohio. The
parts are primarily for Rover 75, 90 and 105 cars of the 1950’s
and they include engine parts such as gaskets and valves; electrical
parts such as ignition parts, regulators and generator or starter
brushes; good used or rebuildable brake cylinders, new brake
cylinder kits; most of a grill in good condition; front body
valence; a few bumper parts; etc. If you have a 1950’s
P4 please let me know -- Steve Manwell, smanwell@sprintmail.com,
781-662-2669 – there may be useful spare parts in this
collection for your car.
2000TC or 3500S Wanted: I am looking to purchase a mint condition Rover 3500S or 2000TC. Thanks, Dirk Burrowes, Massachusetts, 978-342-9800, dirk@vy-tek.com
P3 Wheel Wanted: Do
any of the club members have a spare wheel for a P3? I think
they're 16" because
it was a lefthand drive export model (apparently home market
models had 17” rims). Gerald Strange, strange1@kiva.net,
(812) 275-3970.
